In March 2024, our entrepreneurship club had the privilege of hosting Vinod Khosla, founder of Khosla Ventures and an influential figure in Silicon Valley, for an engaging discussion on the future of entrepreneurship and venture capital. The event drew over 400 UCLA students, all eager to gain insights from Mr. Khosla’s vast experience in the investment field. During the session, Mr. Khosla shared his insights on technological innovation, drawing from his decades of experience in the investment field to offer the most significant lessons he has gained from investing.

Vinod Khosla is a distinguished veteran of Silicon Valley, recognized for being the founding CEO of SUN Microsystems and incubating startups like Juniper Networks. As the founder of Khosla Ventures, he has led a venture capital firm dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs to build pioneering technology-driven companies. Other notable investments by Khosla Ventures include transformative companies such as OpenAI, DoorDash, and GitLab. As of 2023, Mr. Khosla holds the #161 position on the Forbes 400 list.
